The Adirondack 46ers Hockey Club implemented a program called “Giving Back” for the 2021-2022 season. The program was designed for players on 46ers teams at the 14U level and above to help instill in our players the roots of true community service in helping members in our communities that are in need and our area youth sports associations. The “Giving Back” program aims to create a stronger community through volunteer work and community connections. Players are required to perform a minimum number of hours of community service in the areas that they live. This past season, the 46ers teams completed over 50 hours of community service to volunteer for the Junior Rangers Learn to Play Program, 8U Girls Jamboree, 8U Turkey Shootout, Joint Council for Economic Opportunity Food Drive, The Alice Center and Massena Rehabilitation & Nursing Center to name a few.
